Royce White objects to Rockets’ claim that he skipped sessions with therapist

The Houston Rockets forward took to Twitter to contest a report that he did not attend sessions with a team therapist.

Houston Rockets forward Royce White continues to contest any and all media reports about his continued absence from the team. The latest: posting messages on his Twitter account contesting a report from Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle that he is being fined for missing scheduled sessions with the Houston Rockets' therapist.

According to Feigen, the Rockets have arranged for White to see the therapist, but White has not attended. White responded by posting a picture of the email exchange he had with the therapist on Twitter. Here’s a photo:

White deleted the tweet, but it was preserved by user @PHABMK6, among others. White did leave up a number of other tweets that he put out there to contest the claim made in the Houston Chronicle article.

The conflict goes back to last week, when White, according to Feigen, expressed concern that he wasn't being given a fair opportunity to earn playing time. White, along with fellow rookies Scott Machado and Donatas Motiejunas, were sent to the Rockets' NBA Developmental League squad on Monday.
