Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers left Thursday's 98-93 win over the Denver Nuggets after straining his triceps in the first quarter. According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Chalmers did not return to the game and is listed as day-to-day.

Heat guard Dwyane Wade missed Thursday's game with a sprained left foot and is also listed as day-to-day. Miami plays in Phoenix Saturday night in the final game of a six game road trip. The Heat then have three days off before hosting Milwaukee Wednesday.

LeBron James led all scorers with 27 points and added seven rebounds and 12 assists as the Heat bounced back from their Wednesday night loss against the Clippers. Shane Battier helped make up for the lack of Wade with six three-pointers and 18 points. Chris Bosh (14 points) and Mike Miller (12 points on four threes) were also in double-figures for the Heat.

The win moved Miami to 7-3 on the season, 3-3 on the road.
