New Orleans Hornets rookie big man Anthony Davis may be out for another two weeks due to a stress reaction in his left ankle. Davis had an MRI done on his ankle after he sprained the same ankle three times in three days, which is usually a precursor to a more serious stress fracture if the ankle is not rested sufficiently.

Davis originally injured his ankle while working out with Team USA over the summer, but he says his current condition is not related to that injury.
The team is targeting a return somewhere between Dec. 3rd and 8th, while they play three games at home. He hasn't suited up for the Hornets since Nov. 17th against the Milwaukee Bucks, one night after he rolled his ankle against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Through the first six games of his career, Davis has averaged 16 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game.
