Gerald Henderson injury: Bobcats’ G out 2-4 weeks with left foot sprain
Charlotte Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson is expected to miss time due to a foot sprain.

Henderson originally sustained the injury in the second half of the team's game against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night. At the time, the club feared that the injury could be significant as they used X-rays to check for a possible fracture. Ultimately, that turned out not to be the case, as the results came back negative.
The 24-year-old Duke University product has struggled with injuries thus far in his young career and has missed at least 11 games in each of his first three seasons. Last year, he struggled with hamstring issues and missed some time due to a back injury. Despite this, he managed to lead the team in scoring.
Through two games this season, Henderson is averaging 12.5 points, 3.0 steals and 2.5 assists in 28 minutes per game.
