Frustration has been high for the Los Angeles Lakers this season, with a winless preseason and a 1-4 record to start off despite big signings in the offseason. During the team's latest speed bump, a 95-86 road loss to the Utah Jazz, Kobe Bryant sent an angry stare in the direction of head coach Mike Brown. The stare ended up going viral online as "The Kobe Death Stare."
Kobe Bryant says he’s been Mike Brown’s ‘biggest supporter’
Despite the ‘Kobe Death Stare’ viral video that came out against the Utah Jazz, Kobe Bryant said on Thursday that he is Mike Brown’s biggest supporter.

Kobe was approached on Thursday after practice by the media, but laughed off comments about the “death stare.” He turned it around instead, saying he’s been his coach’s biggest supporter:
“I don’t give a (expletive) how it was interpreted,” Bryant said. “It doesn’t really matter to me. I’m too old to deal with that stuff. I really am. I’ve been (Brown’s) biggest supporter. So, I’m really too old to be dealing with childish things.”
Kobe's angry stare was certainly deserved considering how the team has played this year. The Lakers rank 13th in the league in points per game and have struggled to stop other teams from scoring. Los Angeles will look again for a second win on Friday when hosting the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center.
