The Miami Heat welcome the Atlanta Hawks to AmericanAirlines Arena on Monday night in a bout for first place in the Southeast Division. The divisional contest highlights a six-game NBA slate for the day.

Miami currently sits at 13-5, which is ½-game better than Atlanta, who is 12-5 and winners of nine of its last 10 games. The Heat have struggled some of late, losing two games in a row last week before handling the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday.

The Heat and Hawks have played once already this season, with Miami grabbing a hard-fought 95-89 road win back on Nov. 9. LeBron James nearly notched a triple-double in the game, scoring 21 points, pulling down 11 rebounds and handing out nine assists.

The other big game of the night in the NBA is between two Texas teams, as the San Antonio Spurs visit the Houston Rockets. The Spurs have won four straight games, including a 114-92 win over the Rockets on Friday. San Antonio holds the league's best record at 17-4. Houston has been up-and-down all season and is currently losers of two in a row.
