The battle for New York continues Tuesday night.
NBA schedule: Knicks, Nets set for action again
The Nets own the season series, 1-0.

The Atlantic-leading New York Knicks don't have to travel too far when they play the Brooklyn Nets at 7 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN.
The Knicks enter the game with 15-5 overall record, which is the best mark in the Eastern Conference. New York is coming off a 112-106 win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 34 points to put the Knicks on his back for the win.
The Nets are sitting right behind the Knicks in the Atlantic Division. The Nets are 11-8 this season, but are riding a four-game losing streak. Brooklyn has losses to Miami, Oklahoma City, Golden State and Milwaukee in that span.
Brooklyn will try to slow down Anthony, who already has six games with at least 30 points scored this season.
The Nets' leading scorer is center Brook Lopez, who is averaging 18.5 points per game and 6.8 rebounds. Deron Williams is second on the team in scoring, averaging 17 points and nine assists per game.
In the only other game between the teams this season, the Nets won, 96-89, on Nov. 26.
