Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry has been diagnosed with a partially torn triceps muscle and is estimated to miss approximately 10 games, according to Yahoo! Sports NBA reporter Mark Spears.
Kyle Lowry injury: Raptors G out with partial triceps tear
The seventh-year player out of Villanova is expected to miss close to 10 days.

Lowry, a seventh-year player out of Villanova, has played in 16 games in 2012-13, starting 15 of them. He’s posted averages of 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest, both career highs, while adding an average of 5.8 assists. An injury of this nature comes with a lot of uncertainty. Despite the optimistic timetable for return, he could very likely miss more time than anticipated.
Veteran Jose Calderon would likely start at the point guard spot in Lowry's absence. The injury is a devastating blow to the Raptors, who have struggled mightily this season. Through 22 games, the team is just 4-18 and in fifth place in the Atlantic Division. They have three-game home stand set to begin on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, followed by games against the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.
