Phoenix Suns at New York Knicks, noon ET, Fox Sports Arizona/MSG
The Suns continue a disastrous six-game east coast trip with a visit to Madison Square Garden Sunday. Phoenix has lost the four previous games on this road swing, including a four-point loss to Toronto Friday. The Knicks, on the other hand, have won three of their last four and lead the Atlantic Division with an 11-4 record. Power forward Amar’e Stoudamire watches his former team come to town, having spent eight seasons with the Suns to start his career. Stoudemire is sidelined, however, for at least the next few weeks with an injury.
Orlando Magic at Los Angeles Lakers, 9:30 p.m. ET, Fox Sports Florida/TWC SportsNet
Lakers center Dwight Howard meets his former team for the first time Sunday, as Orlando visits the Staples Center. Howard came alive in the Lakers' 122-103 win over Denver Friday, scoring 28 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Orlando has lost three in a row and 10 of its last 13, and is anxiously awaiting the return of guard Jameer Nelson, who missed Friday's loss to Brooklyn with an Achilles injury.
