A second half comeback helps the New York Knicks beat the Kevin Love-less Minnesota Timberwolves 94-91 at Madison Square Garden Sunday.

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks in scoring as they get to 20 wins.


The Knicks trailed 55-46 at the break but outscored the Timberwolves 25-18 in the third quarter to draw within two points moving into the fourth quarter. Four Knicks finished in double figures, led by Carmelo Anthony who finished the day with a game high 33 points despite hitting just 10 of his 25 shots, including three of 10 from beyond the arc. Anthony scored six straight points with the Knicks down 86-82 to give them a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
J.R. Smith came off the bench and knocked down 19 points. Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton also finished in double figures with 16 and 15 respectively. As a team, the Knicks finished just six of 26 from beyond the arc.
Five Timberwolves had double figure points in the loss. Nikola Pekovic dropped 21 points and grabbed 17 rebounds on his way to a double-double. for Minnesota while Alexey Shved chipped in 18 points. Luke Ridnour finished with 14 points while Dante Cunningham and Juan Barea both had 12 points. Cunningham also nabbed 10 rebounds.
