Troubled center DeMarcus Cousins is not with the Sacramento Kings for a game at Portland, despite being reinstated from an indefinite suspension, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports. Jones tweeted that Cousins was not with the team Wednesday because of a coach's decision.

After being reinstated by the team to end an indefinite suspension, Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins did not travel with the team for a game at Portland.

Just Monday, the Kings center was reinstated after sitting out one game during an indefinite suspension. That suspension was announced on Saturday, but on Monday it was lifted and Cousins was practicing with the team.
It's been a tumultuous season for Cousins, who has been suspended twice by the NBA. He was penalized for confronting San Antonio Spurs announcer Sean Elliott in November, then earlier in December was again suspended for taking a shot at Dallas Mavericks guard O.J. Mayo below the belt.
The Kings, who are 9-18, played without Cousins on Sunday against the Trail Blazers and had one of their more impressive performances of the season thus far. They beat Portland, 108-96, in Sacramento.
