The Memphis Grizzlies used a big fourth quarter to overcome the Denver Nuggets 81-72.

Memphis entered the half with a one-point lead, but trailed by four entering the final quarter. However, the Grizzlies put together a huge fourth, outscoring the Nuggets 28-15, to claim the victory.

Rudy Gay led the way for the Grizzlies, scoring 19 points on 8-of-18 shooting while adding six rebounds. Zach Randolph contributed 12 points on 6-of-13 shooting with seven rebounds. Maurice Speights added eight points, 10 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 16 minutes off the bench.

It was a team effort offensively for the Nuggets, as no one scored more than 12 points. Andre Iguodala, Corey Brewer and JaVale McGee all reached that mark, while Kenneth Faried added 11 points.

Denver’s next contest is Tuesday at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies suit up next on Monday when they travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers.
