Utah’s promising young big man has missed their last two games and his return date is still unknown.

Utah head coach Tyrone Corbin talked about his absence with reporters on Tuesday (courtesy of Deseret News):
“We have to move some things around. Some guys will have to play some extended minutes,” Corbin said. “We’ll have to ask some guys to play a different position a little bit, but guys will get minutes on the floor. This is what they work for. You work for your opportunity. The opportunity is upon us now, so you’ve got to be ready to respond to it.”
Favors, the centerpiece of the Deron Williams deal, has emerged as a key player for Utah in his fourth season in the NBA. A wildly athletic 6'10, 250 big man who's still only 21 years old, he is averaging 9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2 blocks on 44% shooting this season.
His absence will likely create more playing time for Enes Kanter, the 6'11, 250 Turkish big man that the Jazz selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 Draft.
