Almost two-thirds of the NBA is in action on Wednesday, but even the national TV games are a little lackluster.
NBA schedule 2012: 11 games on Wednesday
There’s a full slate of NBA games Wednesday but not a lot of marquee matchups on the docket.

The highlight of the night is ESPN's first game, a matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets. Atlanta has gotten off to a strong 9-5 start after giving away Joe Johnson in the offseason, but Denver, despite adding Andre Iguodala, has been one of the NBA's most disappointing teams so far at 9-9.
The nightcap is a game between the Dallas Mavericks and L.A. Clippers at the Staples Center. However, with Dirk Nowitzki still recovering from offseason knee surgery, Dallas doesn't have much star power and will need to scratch and claw its way into a game against Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and Co.
After that, you've got a talented but inconsistent young Milwaukee Bucks team traveling to San Antonio, a still short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves squad playing the Boston Celtics and the L.A. Lakers headed into New Orleans, although Anthony Davis will miss the game with an ankle injury.
