The Friday NBA schedule is packed full, with highlights including the Western Conference-leading Memphis Grizzlies in action and a rematch from last year's Conference Semifinals as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. All told, there are 12 games for fans to enjoy.
NBA schedule 2012: Lakers vs. Thunder highlights Friday night
24 teams are in action on Friday, including the league-leading Memphis Grizzlies.

The Thunder had little trouble with the Lakers in the 2012 playoffs, winning the series in five games. They went down in the finals to the Miami Heat, but they seem to have picked up where they left off for 2013, leading the league in scoring (105.7 points per game) and sitting just outside the top 10 on defense (96.1 ppg allowed.) Los Angeles continues to go through high-profile struggles, but Kobe Bryant leads the league in scoring, averaging 28 points per game. The Thunder may be having more consistent success this season, but any matchup between these two teams can easily be a scrap.
The Grizzlies’ matchup with the Hornets is likely to be a different sort of contest. The Grizzlies boast the best record in the NBA, 13-3, while the 5-12 Hornets sit at the bottom of the Southwest standings. The 26th-ranked New Orleans offense is likely in for a long night against the No. 3 Memphis defense, who are giving up an average of just 91.2 points per game.
