Joel Przybilla Will Sign With Trail Blazers, According To Report

Free agent center Joel Przybilla has decided to sign with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Przybilla reportedly signed a free agent deal for the veteran’s minimum for the remainder of the 2012 season.

Only a few weeks ago, he was expected to choose between the Chicago Bulls or the Miami Heat. However, Portland made a late surge to reclaim their former player and seems to have won out.

Przybilla was with the Blazers from 2004 until 2011, when he was traded mid-season to the Charlotte Bobcats. He hasn't played this season as he spends time back in Milwaukee with his family.

Przybilla averaged 4.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game over his 11-year career which has spanned Milwuakee, Altanta, Portland and Charlotte. He was the 9th overall selection in the 2000 NBA Draft, chosen by the Houston Rockets, but traded the same day to the Milwaukee Bucks.
