On Friday night, Markieff Morris played in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge as a part of All-Star weekend. The next day, he and his brother Marcus Morris made the trip to Lawrence, Kansas for the final edition of the Border War between Kansas and Missouri. They took in a spectacular game at Allen Fieldhouse, but watching the game wasn't the last thing that Marcus would do with his time in Lawrence.
Marcus Morris Ticketed For Bar Fight In Lawrence, According To Report
Marcus Morris of the Houston Rockets was ticketed in Lawrence, Kansas on Sunday morning after he was allegedly involved in a bar fight.


At 2:37 a.m. on Sunday morning, Marcus was allegedly involved in a bar fight. The police were called to a bar called The Cave, where the altercation allegedly took place. Morris was one of two men that the police gave a ticket.
Said a police spokesperson:
“A male employee was allegedly punched by another man after a verbal dispute turned physical,” said Kim Murphree, police spokeswoman. “Another man allegedly punched the employee from behind.”
