Blake Griffin told ESPN L.A. on Thursday that he does not plan to defend his title as the NBA's reigning Dunk Contest champion. This disappoints Chris Paul, no doubt, as the point guard likely wanted to one-up Baron Davis by lofting an alley-oop out of the sunroof of a KIA while driving.

LeBron James is said to be considering his first Dunk Contest bid, something he says every single year. Don't hold your breath. We'll see who the NBA and TNT cook up over the next couple weeks.
