In a match-up between one of the East's best teams and one of its worst, the Toronto Raptors made sure to keep things interesting late. The Raptors trailed the Miami Heat by as many as 15 in the fourth quarter, but rung off a 12-0 run to pull within three at 85-82. But Miami whipped it back around with three unanswered scores to rack up a 95-89 win.

The Toronto Raptors made it interesting in the end, but the Miami Heat were able to prevail 95-89.
LeBron James led Miami with 30 points and nine rebounds, and Dwyane Wade offered up 25 as both bullied their way to the line (12 free throw attempts each). Toronto was paced by DeMar DeRozan, who scored 25 in the game but just two in the fourth quarter. It was Linas Kleiza and Jerryd Bayless who starred there, scoring 12 and nine in the quarter respectively. Each finished with 17 on the game.
Peninsula Is Mightier notes that LeBron had just two assists in the game, breaking a 25-game streak in which James had at least five assists and five rebounds.
Miami moved to 18-6, a full game over Philadelphia for the No. 2 seed in the East. (Chicago is one full game in front of Miami.) Toronto is now 8-17, tied with New Jersey for 11th place in the conference.
