Kevin Love Suspended Two Games For Stomping On Luis Scola, League Announces
Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love has been suspended for two games for stepping on Houston Rockets forward Luis Scola in the Timberwolves’ 100-91 win over the Rockets on Saturday night, the NBA announced. The league declared that Love’s stomp was not accidental in making its decision.
The suspension came because Love was “driving his foot into the upper body and face” of Scola on the play, the league announced in its press release. Watch video of the play here.

There’s no way to know what was going through Love’s head and whether or not it was intentional, but it looks bad. In fact, it looks real bad. Scola may have been in Love’s way, but it sure looked like the Timberwolves’ big man knew exactly what was going on.
