Manu Ginobli Expected To Play Saturday Against Nets

Manu Ginobili has been out since early January with a broken finger, but the veteran guard for the San Antonio Spurs is expected to return this Saturday when the team takes on the New Jersey Nets.

Via MySanAntonio.com:

Speaking before tonight’s game against the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center, coach Gregg Popovich called Ginobili "likely" for the game against the Nets. In fact, Popovich said Ginobili — who will miss his 22nd game since fracturing his shooting hand Jan. 2 in Minnesota — tried to bargain his way onto the floor in Philadelphia.

Popovich refused to say Ginobli would play for sure.

Ginobili still needs to participate in a full-scale practice and with an extra day off between the Philadelphia and New Jersey games, that will come either Thursday or Friday.
