Thunder Vs. Magic: Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook Look For First Win In Orlando

The Oklahoma City Thunder have never won a road game against the Orlando Magic, but considering their current hot streak and the way the Christmas Day game between the two teams unfolded, that losing streak could be coming to an end on Thursday (8 p.m. ET, TNT).

Orlando is playing very well at the moment, but the Magic were very reliant on three-point shooting in their victory on Wednesday night. John Wall was spectacular, but the Magic fired their way to a 102-95 victory over the Washington Wizards on the back of a 15-for-36 shooting performance from behind the arc.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City rode its ability to get to the free throw line to a win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Thunder were also able to keep themselves from fouling, committing just nine fouls and sending Philly to the line just 12 times in a 92-88 victory on Wednesday. The Thunder were 26-for-34 from the free throw line.

The Thunder won the first game against Orlando, 97-89, even with Russell Westbrook scoring just 14 points. Given how well Westbrook is playing at present and how much the Magic struggled with Wall on Wednesday, it wouldn't be surprising to see Westbrook produce at a much higher clip.

Dwight Howard scored just 11 points in the first meeting between the Magic and Thunder, and he has only been able to score more than 20 points in two of the Magic's last 10 games. If Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka are at their best on the defensive end, the Magic are going to become very reliant on three-point shots to create offense.
