The latest NBA trade rumors indicate that the Boston Celtics are entertaining some solid offers for Ray Allen. The veteran shooting guard is known for being a good teammate and better shooter, so there's no guarantee the Celtics are able to find a deal that equals what he's worth to Boston.
NBA Trade Rumors: Ray Allen Could Be Moved As Celtics Are ‘50-50’ To Make Deadline Deal
Celtics general manager Danny Ainge appeared on the “Dennis and Callahan Show with Dale Arnold and Kirk Minihane” Thursday morning and, while it wasn’t anything groundbreaking, the man holding the key to a couple of intriguing trade pieces said his team was “50-50” on if they’ll make a deal before Thursday afternoon’s NBA trade deadline.
Ainge has options, too, as Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports several teams are interested in trading for Allen.
Several contenders chasing Ray Allen. Some offering a good young player, some offering 1st round pick. If Celts get both, they may move him.

Depending on the definition of a “good young player,” the Celtics could be in for a haul if they’re able to find the offer Wojnarowski says they’re looking for. That’s a big if, though, because there probably aren’t a lot of teams hoping to help out an aging Boston team.
