NBA Scores: Jazz Knock Off Thunder, Bucks Raze Blazers
The Jazz stayed hot by beating the Thunder, and the Bucks kept their playoff run at pace.
Jazz 97, Thunder 90: Utah continues to fight for a playoff spot, beating Oklahoma City to pick up a fourth straight win. Kevin Durant had a brutal night for the Thunder, shooting 6-22 with six turnovers. Utah was led by Paul Millsap (20 points on 10-16 shooting) and held OKC to 42 percent shooting.
Bucks 116, Blazers 87: Portland conceded another double-digit lead, this time to a team fighting for its postseason life. Milwaukee had a totally balanced effort on the road, with six players scoring at least 14 points, all of whom shot 50 percent or better. Reigning God figure Drew Gooden led the way with 19. Wes Matthews, LaMarcus Aldridge and Raymond Felton combined for 60 points on 20-35 shooting. The rest of the Blazers combined for 27 points on 9-47 shooting. Yikes.
Kings 119, Grizzlies 110: I wish I could explain how the Kings have won three straight over good teams, but hey, scholars have been trying to explain miracles for centuries. I'm but a man. Marcus Thornton scored 31 with seven rebounds and six assists, Jason Thompson had a fourth straight double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, DeMarcus Cousins dropped 23 points on Marc Gasol, and Tyreke Evans came off the bench to offer up 13 points. So much offense!
