Heat Vs. Knicks Final Score: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade Too Much For New York

The Knicks have been winning with Carmelo Anthony's Hero Ball efforts, but New York had no answer for Miami's heroes -- plural -- vs. the Heat on Sunday. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh combined for 73 points, and the Heat scored a 93-85 win.

Carmelo Anthony led New York with 42 points, nine rebounds and five assists, but only one other Knick (J.R. Smith) scored in double digits as the Heat clamped down on defense, especially in a suffocating fourth quarter.

Miami put the game away with an 18-3 run that gave them a 91-82 lead in the game’s final minutes and sured up the win. The Knicks shot 42 percent from the field and were out-rebounded by 14 boards.

Here are some initial reactions from our team bloggers.
