The Denver Nuggets are coming off a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers but can clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday afternoon. The Nuggets own the tie breaker with the Suns in playoff seeding, winning the first two match ups of the season and could sweep the series on Saturday. In their last five games against the Jazz, the Nuggets have averaged 120 points per game and has won all five meetings.

The Suns on the other hand are fighting for one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference, sitting one and half games behind the Nuggets and tied with the Utah Jazz. A loss on Saturday could but a big dent in the Suns playoff hopes, so every game going forward is an important one. The Suns control their own playoff destiny however, so a win against the Nuggets will just get them closer to that goal.
