With a win on Saturday, the Phoenix Suns would have kept two playoff spots open in the Western Conference. Instead, the Denver Nuggets put on a fantastic performance on the road in Arizona, and clinched a playoff berth in the process with a 118-107 win. There is now just one playoff spot up for grabs, which Phoenix will fight the Utah Jazz for. The Houston Rockets are a longshot to grab the spot, but have not yet been eliminated.

Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson put together one of the best performances of his career with 29 points on 10-16 shooting to go along with 10 assists. Kenneth Faried had a double-double of his own with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Steve Nash had 13 assists and passed Oscar Robertson for fifth on the all-time list, but scored just eight points. The Suns shot just 46 percent as a team to Denver's 55 percent.
