If the regular season series between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks is any indicator, the conference quarterfinal series between the two teams shouldn't be too much of a contest. On Saturday, the Knicks will hope to send out a message that the series isn't going to be a walk for Miami (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

The Miami Heat host the New York Knicks to kick off their run towards redemption after losing in last year’s NBA Finals.

The Heat were 3-0 in the regular season against the Knicks with their most recent win coming on April 15 at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony scored 42 points in that game, but got minimal offensive help from his team as the Big Three shined for Miami in a 93-85 victory.
Both teams rested some of their stars to end the year, so everyone should be fit and healthy. Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh all sat in Miami's last two games. New York rested Tyson Chandler, Anthony, Baron Davis and Toney Douglas to end the year. They're still without Jeremy Lin, who is not expected to be able to return for this series.
