ANIMATED: Shaq Slides Around In TNT Studio

Look, we’re all adults here, right? But no matter how mature you like to think you are, you’ve been wearing dress shoes at some point and have encountered a floor that was unexpectedly slippery. Dress shoes generally don’t have a lot of traction. You either slipped a little and were worried you looked like a doofus, or you took the slightly less dignified (but infinitely more fun) option of sliding around for a while, giggling with glee.

Luckily, that's the approach that Shaquille O'Neal took on Saturday, when he slid willy-nilly around the TNT studios during a break in the playoff game between the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Look at him go! My favorite part is when he stumbles a bit making a right-hand turn but then picks up speed again, like a scared cat starting to run on a linoleum floor. We should all be thankful for Shaq, every day, because he represents the child in us all.

Here’s another GIF, one that may perhaps be better paired with a rousing rendition of “Yakkety Sax.”
