Tony Parker seems like a pretty smart fellow. He knows better than anyone that it's hard to play basketball in socks. That's probably why he decided to sit down and chill on the baseline after he lost his shoe trying to guard Devin Harris early in the San Antonio Spurs' NBA Playoffs opener against the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz took the ball back down the court and got a wide-open three as Parker stayed on the baseline. It missed, and when the Spurs got the ball back, coach Gregg Popovich waited until the Spurs dribbled the ball back up the court and started to run their play before eventually calling timeout. I'm going to choose to believe that was Popovich's way of punishing Parker for not running back on defense with one shoe.
