Jazz Vs. Spurs: Devin Harris Accidentally Clocks Tony Parker In The Face

We’re only a few days removed from Metta World Peace’s flagrant elbow on James Harden and only one day removed from people claiming LeBron James was flopping all over the court. Basically, when someone gets knocked in the head during a basketball game, we assume it was either a dirty play or a flop.

However, this Devin Harris elbow on Tony Parker during Game 1 of the 2012 NBA Playoffs series between the Jazz and Spurs is neither of those things.

That’s just an unlucky situation. Harris was simply going for the rebound, and Parker’s face just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Harris didn’t swing at Parker on purpose, and Parker didn’t flop to try to exaggerate the call. Sometimes, these things just happen.

Parker ended up being OK, and nobody on the Spurs went after Harris to retaliate. Problem solved.
