The L.A. Clippers beat the Sacramento Kings on Thursday in no small part due to foul trouble for DeMarcus Cousins. The game was repeatedly physical, but Boogie was the only player who suffered from a shortened leash due to the whistle.
DeMarcus Cousins Accuses Blake Griffin Of Faking It
His final violation in the closing moments was a foul call as he defended Blake Griffin. Let's just say that Cousins is not convinced he deserved the call.
Cousins swiped at the ball and missed. Griffin grabbed his eye and a foul was called. “I guess the wind from my hand hit him in the eye,” Cousins said. “I guess he got fouled by the wind.” [...]
“(Griffin is) in L.A. where actors belong.”
This is not a new accusation against Griffin, so it’ll be interesting to see how Cousins -- who never shies away from delivering actual contact -- responds. The teams have a rematch scheduled on Saturday in L.A.
