This Bulls vs. Knicks game is bonkers. And we're getting more of it for free. Carmelo Anthony canned a three-pointer with 11 seconds left to salvage OT after the Knicks blew a 21-point first quarter lead. Anthony had 38 points in regulation.
Bulls Vs. Knicks Score: Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony Duel Goes To Overtime
Anthony was only in position to tie the game after Derrick Rose missed a pair of free throws that would have iced the game in the final minute. In the wild ending, Steve Novak rattled a three-pointer halway into the basket, but when it popped out the game seemed all but over.
Then Carmelo Anthony happened:
Derrick Rose struggled for the first 24 minutes in his return to the lineup on Sunday afternoon. But he was back to his old self in the second half, leading the Bulls to the brink of a big win in regulation.
Rose scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half. Perhaps none seemed bigger -- or more awesome -- than this and-one three pointer, followed by borrowing Joakim Noah's FINGA GUNZ for an on-the-ground celebration.
At that point it seemed like the Bulls would cruise to a win, but the Knicks have made this very interesting.
