The Lakers and Thunder kick off the most anticipated series of the NBA's Conference Semifinals tonight, and we at SB Nation Studios were determined to conduct the most scientific of experiments to determine who would win the best-of-seven matchup of Western Conference heavyweights. So we did what any good sports scientician (it's a word, don't bother checking) would do: we simulated a single game with NBA Live 95, the first and possibly greatest of EA Sports' NBA Live series, if only because it rhymed.

↵Of course, the Thunder didn’t exist in 1995, so we had to substitute their previous incarnation, the Seattle SuperSonics (*pours out part of venti latte*). Watch the video, and please try to respect our scientific method even if your pigeon-brain can’t comprehend our higher mathematics.
