Celtics Vs. Sixers: Did Philadelphia Learn Anything?

The Philadelphia 76ers dropped another game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, going down in the series 2-1 with a 107-91 loss. This led Michael Levin of SB Nation's 76ers blog Liberty Ballers to ask himself what the team learned from its loss.

To answer my question from the title: nothing. Absolutely nothing. The opposite of something: it’s nothing. The Celtics and Sixers met for coffee last night. Boston brought a briefcase with them. The Sixers brought a paperclip. About a quarter into the conversation, the Celtics laid the briefcase on the table, unlocked the flaps, and opened up a can of whoop-ass all over the Sixers and their paperclip. It lasted 48 minutes.

Jeff Clark of SB Nation’s CelticsBlog noted that Boston looked like a completely different team than it did in the previous game, showing some offensive prowess in the win.

What a difference a game makes. They hardly even seemed like the same team on offense. What was ugly in game 2 was pretty in game 3. What was sloppy was stylin. What was lethargic was inspired. The defense was still there, if anything they might have stepped up the pressure even more. But the story of the game was the offense.
