The Philadelphia 76ers lost Game 1 to the Boston Celtics by one point in Boston, then held onto a one-point Game 2 win with some clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch. This set up what should have been a close and exciting Game 3, but the contest was anything but.

The Philadelphia 76ers are in a virtual must-win situation in Game 4. They’re down 2-1 to the Boston Celtics, and Game 5 is in Boston.

Evan Turner was 1-10, Andre Igoudala only attempted six shots and Philly's defense was non-existent. The Celtics mailed it in a bit in the fourth quarter and still won the game 107-91. It was a massive wake-up call for the Sixers and a healthy reminder that Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are still really good. KG led all scorers with 27 points while Pierce dropped 24, getting to the free throw line whenever he felt like it throughout the game.
Without a much improved performance and a win in Game 4, the Sixers will be as good as out of the series before the Celtics win a fourth game. They Celtics aren’t likely to produce another performance quite as good as Game 3’s, but they don’t have to match it to win. They won by 16 points on the road while checking out for good chunks of the fourth quarter. If Garnett, Pierce and Rondo are merely effective, a couple of Sixers will need to be spectacular.
