Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers is not basketball. At least it shouldn’t be.
Celtics Lead 76ers By 3 Heading Into 4th Quarter
Instead of the high-flying fun NBA basketball is normally defined by, this Celtics-76ers game more closely resembles a Steelers-Ravens game: two proud, unrelenting defenses making the underwhelming offenses work overtime for every bucket. With one quarter remaining, the Celtics lead the 76ers 55-52.
The Celtics lead was as large as 10 points in the third, but some very bad misses allowed Philly a few run-outs to get back into it. So far, the C’s are shooting 36 percent from the floor, while the 76ers are shooting 32 percent.
