The Oklahoma City Thunder are up 2-0 in their series against the Dallas Mavericks, but the series doesn't feel like a blowout so far. Oklahoma City won each game by just one possession at home, with Kevin Durant looking very much human in both games outside of his incredible game-winning shot in Game 1.
NBA Playoffs 2012, Mavericks Vs. Thunder Game 3: Game Time, TV Schedule And More
The Dallas Mavericks hung with the Oklahoma City Thunder in their first two games of the series on the road, but they come home with nothing to show for it. Thursday is a virtual must-win for Dallas.
Dallas has played well and might not deserve to be in a 2-0 hole, but they’re in that hole nonetheless. Even though they’ve held Durant offensively and have lost by a cumulative four points, the Mavericks are in a virtual must-win situation on Thursday and, based on Oklahoma City’s home record, Game 4 is a near must-win as well. A 3-0 comeback has never happened, and 3-1 comebacks are extremely rare.
Game Date/Time: Thursday, May 3, 9:30 p.m. ET
Venue: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
TV: TNT
