76ers Vs. Bulls, NBA Playoffs 2012 Game 3: Philly Up 40-39 At Half

What’s nerve racking for Chicagoans is flat-out intriguing for the rest of the country.

In a game that has featured 15 lead changes, the Philadelphia 76ers hold a slim 40-39 lead over the top-seeded (but Derrick Rose-less) Chicago Bulls.

Yes, tonight’s theme of the NBA Playoffs is ugly, low-scoring basketball.

The Sixers, despite struggling to shoot from the perimeter themselves, have held the Bulls to just 14-35 from the floor, and pointed and laughed at guys like spot-up shooter Kyle Korver looking to create off the dribble.

It’s this type of game where you can use a near unstoppable point guard to create is own shot and almost single handedly steal a victory.

Carlos Boozer leads the Bulls with 12 points, and Rip Hamilton has manged to pour in 10 points almost entirely from the free throw line, but from there the offense is embarrassingly stagnant.

Lou Williams leads the Sixers with 10 points.
