Jeremy Lin Injury: Knicks Guard Not In Great Shape, Likely Out Game 5

The New York Knicks lost Baron Davis to an unfortunate injury on Sunday afternoon and, as TV production people are wont to do, the camera immediately panned to Jeremy Lin following a commercial break. Lin was in a suit due to a knee injury of his own, but the consensus was that Linsanity may reign again if he were able to suit up for a do-or-die Game 5.

Unfortunately that won't be the case, as Lin is apparently not quite healthy enough to return from his torn meniscus. NBA.com's John Schuhmann has the relevant quotes from Knicks head coach Mike Woodson.

It's really unfortunate for the Knicks, considering they're now without three point guards -- Iman Shumpert tore his ACL earlier in the series -- and need to go on a winning streak in order to advance to the next round. In the meantime, Mike Bibby will be counted on quite a bit.
