The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks are playing what could end up being the deciding game in their series on Tuesday night. The Hawks are hoping the series doesn’t end prematurely in Atlanta, but if they play like they did on Sunday ... well, it probably will.
NBA Playoffs 2012, Celtics Vs. Hawks Game 5: Game Time, TV Schedule And More
The Atlanta Hawks face a must-win Game 5 on Tuesday night with the Boston Celtics trekking down to Georgia with a bit of momentum in their possession.
Atlanta enters Tuesday night’s game with a 3-1 deficit in the seven-game series, making each of the next few games win-or-go-fishing affairs. The positive for the Hawks is that they’re now back in Georgia for Game 5, giving them homecourt advantage when Tuesday night’s game tips off at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
Atlanta’s struggled to run any sort of organized offense in the second half all series, but they were able to keep it relatively close due to the Celtics’ struggles. That wasn’t the case on Sunday, though, when Boston couldn’t miss and the Hawks folded up at halftime.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Hawks are able to bounce back, or if the veteran Boston club keeps its foot on the gas.
