The NBA Finals begin Tuesday with Game 1 between the Heat and Thunder.
Miami advanced to the NBA finals by beating the Celtics 101-88 in Game 7. LeBron James leads the way for the Heat, averaging 30.8 points and 9.6 rebounds. James increased his scoring and rebounding in every round this postseason. He averaged 33.6 points and 11 rebounds in the Eastern Conference final.
Oklahoma City advanced past the Spurs in the Western Conference final thanks in large part to Kevin Durant. The NBA scoring champion is averaging 27.8 points during the postseason. Russell Westbrook is second on the Thunder, averaging 21.7 points while James Harden is averaging 17.6 points off the bench.
Tuesday’s Game 1 is scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ABC.
