The NBA will reportedly investigate Amar'e Stoudemire for a homosexual slur he allegedly sent to a fan in a direct message on Twitter. The fan sent a photo of the message to Deadspin (inappropriate language warning, obviously). Stoudemire seemed to take offense when the fan told the New York Knicks forward, "You better come back a lot stronger and quicker to make up for this past season, dead[butt].''
NBA Reportedly To Investigate Amar’e Stoudemire For Slur
The NBA will reportedly investigate Amar’e Stoudemire for a direct message he sent to a fan on Twitter that allegedly contained a homosexual slur.

Stoudemire allegedly apologized to the fan Sunday, saying, “I apologize for what I said earlier. I just got off the plane and had time to think about it. Sorry bro!! No excuses. Won’t happen again.” The message came after the story had broken on Deadspin.
The NBA is looking into the authenticity of the photo. In this day and age, fabricating words into someone else’s mouth is rather easy, unfortunately. There is no word on what action the league might take if the photo is legitimate.
