Miami Heat Minority Owner Raanan Katz Is Suing The Internet

You didn’t know Ranaan Katz’s name before today, but now you do -- he’s the guy suing a blogger who had been attacking him on the internet. Katz’s lawyer also threatened to sue other sites who reported on the lawsuit. All of which leads to the larger message here: If you’re a megarich businessman who doesn’t like something that someone is writing on the internet, DON’T SUE THEM. No matter how good it sounds on paper, it will only make things worse, and you’ll become famous for all the wrong reasons. Call it The Dan Snyder Rule.
