Tim Duncan has agreed to a three-year deal to remain with the San Antonio Spurs, Yahoo! Sports' Johnny Ludden reports. A few details are still being worked out, but the framework of the deal has been put in place. Marc Spears reports that the deal includes a no-trade clause, and the third year is a player option.

Assuming Duncan fulfills the full length of the contract, the veteran forward will be 39 the next time he has to deal with free agency. Duncan has played his entire 15-year career with the Spurs, establishing himself among the best ever at his position. He remains productive despite his relatively advanced aged. Last season, Duncan averaged 15.4 points and 9.0 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game.
