The Portland Trail Blazers have invited Adam Morrison to join them at training camp, according to SI's Sam Amick. Morrison will try to earn a spot on the Blazers roster after Elliot Williams suffered a season-ending injury last week.
Adam Morrison Takes Unguaranteed Contract With Blazers
Adam Morrison, at 28, has been through a roller coaster ride in the NBA.

The former Gonzaga star spent last year playing in Serbia and Turkey, and has not played in the NBA since April 2010.
Morrison, who was a first-round pick by the Charlotte Bobcats in 2006, has recently been playing with the Clippers' summer league team. Although the Clippers opted to not sign Morrison, the 6'8 small forward managed to turn some heads.
Said Morrison’s agent Mark Bartlestein,
“What (Morrison) did this summer (with the Clippers) was tremendous. He was as good as anybody in Las Vegas -- probably the best offensive player in Vegas. We’ve been looking around, trying to find the right opportunity.”
Morrison will now have an opportunity to be a Trail Blazer at the start of the season, which is Oct. 31 for Portland.
