Andray Blatche ‘not worried’ about sexual assault investigation
The Brooklyn Nets forward told local media that he’s not fretting over his involvement in a sexual assault case.

“I’m not worried at all. I know everything ... when the truth comes out, then everybody will realize what really happened. In the meantime I can’t really have too much comments on it.”
Blatche was reportedly at a strip club in Philadelphia with several friends to celebrate his non-guaranteed contract being picked up by the Nets for the rest of the season. The group left the club with the alleged victim early Tuesday morning and went to Blatche’s hotel room where the incident occurred, according to the New York Post.
The woman called police around 3:30 in the morning and later said Blatche was not involved in the assault, but he was aware of what was happening. Police said the woman was extremely intoxicated when they arrived at the scene, according to ESPN.
Blatche was questioned by police Tuesday and not charged. The Nets’ big man played that night against Philadelphia, scoring 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
