The Golden State Warriors snapped the Portland Trail Blazers’ four-game winning streak Friday.

Point guards Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard went head-to-head in the game, with Lillard, the leading Rookie of the Year candidate, scoring 37 points on 15-of-25 shooting and Curry recording 22 points and 12 assists.
David Lee finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds, Klay Thompson scored 16, Carl Landry had 15 points and Harrison Barnes notched 13 points for Golden State.
The Warriors led by double figures much of the game, taking a 15-point lead into the fourth quarter before the Trail Blazers mounted a late run. The Blazers outscored Golden State, 34-25, in the fourth quarter. A three-pointer by Lillard cut the lead to three points with 17 seconds left, but that’s as close as Portland would get.
Nicolas Batum scored 16 points for Portland and Luke Babbitt and Wesley Matthews each had 10 points. Golden State held LaMarcus Aldridge to seven points on 3-of-14 shooting.
