NBA schedule 2013: Slumping Heat visit Warriors

The road-weary Heat continue their six-game trip against the Warriors on Wednesday night. Elsewhere around the league, a trio of Western Conference contests should also provide some excitement.

The Miami Heat will look to get back on the winning track when they visit the Golden State Warriors at 10:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. The game caps off a 10-game NBA slate for the evening.

The Heat (24-12) have lost three of the first four games on their six-game road trip, including a 103-97 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday. LeBron James needs just 18 points to become the youngest player to reach the 20,000 mark.

The Warriors (23-13) are also coming off a loss, falling 116-105 to the Denver Nuggets on Monday. Golden State did beat Miami at AmericanAirlines Arena earlier this season on a last-second layup by Draymond Green.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, there are several intriguing contests in the Western Conference. The San Antonio Spurs will try to get some revenge when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Grizzlies (24-12) defeated the Spurs (29-11) in overtime last Friday.

In Oklahoma City, the NBA-best Thunder will take on the red-hot Denver Nuggets at 8 p.m. ET. The Thunder (30-8) have won four in a row and own a half-game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers for the league's best record. The Nuggets (24-16) are winners of six straight.

And down in Dallas, the seemingly resurgent Mavericks will host the intrastate rival Houston Rockets at 8 p.m. ET. The Mavericks (16-23) will be in search of their fourth straight win, while the Rockets (21-18) will be looking to end a four-game losing streak.
