The Lakers got some good news on Thursday, as it appears Pau Gasol will play against Miami after missing the last six games with a concussion he suffered in their loss to the Nuggets on Jan. 6.

After missing almost two weeks with a concussion, L.A.‘s embattled big man will be back on the court when they play Miami on Thursday.
Mike D'Antoni said he would bring Gasol off the bench in order to get him back in rhythm, which means another start for Earl Clark, the former lottery bust who has emerged as a reliable contributor for the Lakers after a rash of injuries to their front-court in the last two weeks.
L.A. was forced to start Robert Sacre and Clark when their top three centers -- Gasol, Dwight Howard and Jordan Hill -- all went down with injuries in early January. Hill is out for the season, but Howard returned on Sunday and has played some of his best basketball all year in the last two games.
Gasol has struggled with the transition to Mike D’Antoni’s offensive system, averaging 12.2 points and 8.4 rebounds a game, the lowest numbers of his 13-year NBA career.
